Donna directs the firm's estates and trust tax practice and has extensive experience counseling corporate executives, private equity professionals, families and family offices. Her emphasis includes wealth transfer planning, risk management, and cross-border and domestic tax strategies. Her primary focus is tax minimization for ultrahigh net worth families, as well as multigenerational family wealth planning.
She has consulted with many U.S. expatriates on their tax planning as well as estate and family financial planning, especially those working in London.
Donna speaks to professional and business groups on estate, gift, and individual tax topics.
Donna joined Clarfeld in 1992. A Certified Public Accountant, she is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a global professional association for professionals who practice family inheritance and succession planning.
Donna lives in Westchester County, N.Y. with her husband and three children. An avid supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, she dedicates numerous hours to the organization. She also sits on various civic committees and volunteers at her church.
